Pot Kettle Black are Pete Aubrey (vocals), Paul Chamberlain (guitar)
Roy Ludford (bass)
and Jodie Nicholson (drums)
They are an Alternative, Blues-rock band, from Southampton and Portsmouth, who boast a very distinct sound.
Formed in 2015, Pot Kettle Black embarked on an innovative music career and haven’t looked back since.
They've played in and around the Southampton music circuit for over 7 years and have done very well
- coming 4th out of 80+ bands in the 2018 Black Room Studios, Battle of the Bands
- supported the very talented, Ben Poole on a few occasions, between 2018 & 2022
- and also supported the First Lady of Blues, Sari Schorr.
- and more recently, had the pleasure of supporting the guitar maestro himself, Aynsley Lister in 2022.
In 2018 they released their first music video for their single "Cold Road".
In June 2019 they released their second single "Wrecking Ball Years".
In early 2023 the released a 5 track Ep called "Before" which was recorded just before the pandemic.
Pot Kettle Black are a band that are about original music. They love making their own music, knowing that people are listening to something they have created themselves, from scratch.
